When people state what the pairing is in Reborn, I always mistake it for the word count. >_>
Guess who's heeeeere in Reborn 231. XD; ( Read more... )
( Also, Bakuman 27?? :DDD )
Does anyone read Morinagawa Ai's works? I never finished Boku to Kanojo no xxx, but I remember that it was quite a crazy manga. I started reading Gokuraku Seishun Hockey Club by her, which is about a girl who loves sleeping and eating over everything else (she studied extra hard to get into the high school closest to where she lives so that she can sleep an extra few minutes). She suddenly gets forced to join the boy's hockey club and ends up being surrounded by five boys--the leader, the two siblings/twins, the megane who disproves of her, and the feminine looking bishounen. This reverse harem situation is pretty similar to Ouran High School Host Club where the poor girl is surrounded by all these rich bishounen in a club. I still find it pretty amusing though, since these guys are just so hopeless and don't know how to do anything. This mangaka always has the craziest scenarios.
When I reached the latest scanlations of that, I went off to find her other works and came across Yamada Tarou Monogatari. Has anyone watched the drama version? How is it? I read up to volume 7 and found it amusing how both girls and guys like Yamada so much. I can see why since he appears to know how to do everything and is just so nice and enthusiastic (especially when you give him food). I don't see how people haven't found out that he's crazy about money though (and dirt poor)! His siblings are quite cute. I was snickering a lot during the chapter where they tried to trick people to give them lottery tickets (with their cuteness).
