Too long a post, so here's part 2. XD;; Part 1 was over here.

Meanwhile, the rest of them meet their next obstacle, and once again part of the party is detained. (This is so like an rpg)

Sanada and Akaya stay behind this time.

A huge gate comes down, detaining Sanada and Akaya. (How are they even going to play tennis with this between them??)

Apparently, they're supposed to hit the ball through the cracks, but Sanada will have none of that.

Atobe, Tezuka, and Shiraishi reach another part of the castle.

Atobe decides to stay for this one.

In this battle, the ball never goes out and is still played and can be bounced on the walls. Are they really going to keep score for this one??

Only Shiraishi and Tezuka are left. Looks like none of them are going to be able to reach Ryoma in time to help him.

Epic jacket removal.

Now ready for battle.

Siu defeats Peter. Keese pushes Peter out of the way. (how mean...)

However, Siu can no longer play.

Ryoma takes his place.

Keese doesn't believe Ryoma can do anything.

lol what is going on

That is not tennis

yeah ryoma, I think it's better if you dodge this.

See what I told you...

Don't die here. T___T

Yeah that doesn't look too good.

Nooo, he dropped his hat!

Back to the first battle, Kite and Fuji realize that they're not approaching this in a very smart way.

Shock!

Shock!

And lol, handstand. XD;;

Time to think.

Kite agrees.

Kirihara: Fukubuchou, let me take the shots!
Poor Akaya doesn't realize that Sanada HAS A PLAN.

And has not gone crazy.

Sanada: Shut up! I will take ALL THE SHOTS.

Kirihara does not comprehend.

Meanwhile, Atobe is standing in the middle of a million shots streaking past him.

Shiraishi: This shot is going out.

Tezuka & Shiraishi: What, it didn't go out?!
Repeat many, many times.

Shiraishi: What's going on?

Ryoma doesn't give up.

He flies!

Look at him fly! Drive B was nothing!

Dang.

Yeah, I would be surprised too.

Just what is he serving...

DDDDD:

We then get a flashback about Siu and Keese.

Where Siu was attacked by their opponents.

Angry, Keese uses ki.

And is called out for it. (Whoa, it actually has consequences?! It's actually against the rules???!! Then what about all those other physics breaking moves???!!) His opponent flew away even before the ball touched him, so they get investigated.

(Suits are awesome)

They can no longer play.

Keese jumps into the water.

(Oh, so was it him in the water during that one scene?)

Siu: Keese, we can start over. You still played tennis even after forming Crack. That just shows how much you love tennis.

Not impressed.

Ryoma switches to his left hand. (Wait what? Seriously Ryoma, you've been playing with your right hand in these life threatening conditions?)

Whoa pretty

Pretty. XD;;;

Ryoma has learned ki! XD;;; Giving his shot a boost from behind instead of shooting the ki out in front.

But he lets it dissipate before it reaches Keese, because in the end he still wants to battle it out with tennis. (how is any of this tennis...)

You can't tell that he had his face smashed against the floor. XD;;;

Time to put the plan into action.

Fuji hits both shots!

Hoshi Hanabi!

Big Bang!

Aaaaaand they destroy the bridge, with the poor guy falling into the water.

Meanwhile, Sanada keeps battering the gate.

He leaves the rest to Kirihara.

Kirihara: What?

Sanada: It's your turn now.

...their opponents do not look impressive at all.

The gate collapses!

Akaya heeds Sanada's commands.

And starts flying all over the place. XD;;;

Atobe is still standing in the middle of a bunch of shots.

He is not at all worried.

Meanwhile, his opponent turns ninja.

Are you sure you want to go ninja in front of Atobe?

Not a good idea.

Poor guy falls off the wall.

Atobe: Hmph, you shouldn't have gone ninja in front of me. (seriously, he says that)

Back to Tezuka and Shiraishi's battle, with the opponents always hitting shots that look out but end up "in".

Shiraishi puts a tennis ball against his cheek and lets it soak up sweat...

(now it looks like he's about to kiss it. XD;;; Oh so much attention for a tennis ball. oh wait, they're actually using a tennis ball here and not a real tennis ball.)

Shiraishi faults with his serve. The ball leaves a mark on the floor.

With that, they find out that the lines of the court actually changes, expanding or shrinking to make it so that their opponents shots go in.

Tezuka then says that makes things simple. They'll just make it so that they don't need to duke it out over shots that are in or out. Tezuka Zone, activate!

Whoosh.

Shiraishi getting his catchphrase in. XD;;;

Ryoma's explosive battle with Keese continues. That chandilier doesn't look like it has long.

Pretty.

Oh no, the ceiling!

A bunch of tennis balls get hit to save Ryoma.

Oh look at that pretty starry sky.

Everyone has arrived. All at the same time! =P

Here, have shots of everyone looking cool.

Mm.

They don't look like they're tired at all. XD

Except for Kite. He looks a little roughed up. You should have saved him sooner, Fuji.

Lastly, we have Tezuka of course.

I don't know why this amuses me...

Ryoma is touched.

Keese isn't bothered that everyone else got defeated.

They continue.

Lots of pretty animation here~ (if only all tennis matches were animated like this, but then, you can't really tell if any tennis is actually played here because barely anyone annouces the score. it's more like, who gets killed first by tennis here)

See, Ryoma's preparing to do a kamehameha here.

I can switch hands too!

Everyone: So he's a southpaw.

Instant ace.

Heh.

Seriously, what is this tennis.

This time it's Peter's turn to help Keese pick up his racket.

Look, a shooting star!

Keese starts diving for balls.

Everyone realizes that Keese has stopped using ki since he swithced hands.

Seems like his passion for tennis was reignited.

Look at how tough it is for him.

It makes Siu happy.

But then Ryoma hits a killer shot.

Keese thinks about the time he was about to drown.

Someone's coming to save him.

It's...

Siu?

NO IT'S RYOMA! (LOLOLOLOL)

All the shooting stars gather at the castle through the hole in the roof... I guess they can't be shooting stars.

Ryoma, are you trying to kill someone here?

Oh noes!

Siu rushes to save Keese because clearly Keese can't counter this.

Look at that blast.

Ryoma, you destroyed the wall.

(why do I feel like they're about to kiss?)

Aaaaand the sun comes out.

Look at that beautiful sunrise.

See how beautiful it is?

Peter wakes up.

Now he looks like a little kid to me. XDDD;;;

Dang, how did no one die from that shot.

Ryoma: Mada mada dane.

*falls into Fuji*

Helicopte comes to save them.

The coaches are exasperated.

Seigaku is all ready for the new day! (how are they even still awake after not sleeping for the whole night...)

After that, we get a bunch of still shots of everyone playing in the matches. Guess the matches aren't actually important (the whole reason they even went to England!!).

Looks like Yagyuu and Yanagi continue in doubles together.

LOL HIGA

Priceless. XD

I think he kind of looks funny here.

This has somehow become the norm for them.

Why is Inui looking so shocked? XD

Finally, we have Ryoma serving, though we're not shown him hitting the ball.
After the credits, we get shown Siu and Keese.

Who hug! Aw.
Siu felt like the main character to me. XD;;; Anyway, I thought movie 1 was more unbelievable (Tezuka even killed the dinosaurs, Ryoma's clothes disappeared during his match with Ryoga, etc) or maybe I just got used to this???? I liked that we had a wider cast here than just Seigaku though~. And it was kind of fun how they got detained one by one. Very RPG'ish, definitely. Atobe's wealth has just gotten more and more ridiculous. He even has a castle now. Higa has gotten funnier and funnier. Shiraishi is just there for the pretty, haha.
...and Fuji, saving Kite on a white horse? I still can't get over that.
More screencaps here and here. (they've been resized)
