(To
colors_tcg members and mods, thank you for still sticking around even during LJ's outage. I've decided to take a break while LJ is being wonky (since I can't even make any comments or posts the majority of the time) and will be back to updating things when it's less difficult to do so. August release will still be happening. Hopefully by then LJ will have survived through this latest bout of DDos attacks).
I shouldn't even be trying, but let's see if this goes through. I typed up a long post (this I have saved) and then a shorter post on my tablet hoping that might work better (that I don't have saved), and neither posted. I just hope there doesn't end up being a million posts from me later if it so happens that those entries did post correctly! The short post was about whether or not I should consider haunting microblogging sites like tumblr.
While I love the blog format and am sad that we've taken to microblogging so much (and I am the type to stick to one thing to the bitter end), perhaps it's time to join the crowd. I go where the content is, and where there are friends to meet and keep in touch with. Lj still seems to be the go to place for fics though. Dreamwidth is still a fairly quiet in comparison, and I don't think people truly consider tumblr a place to post fic. Do people post fic on tumblr? I've been considering for a long time if I want to move my fic elsewhere, since this journal of mine has become quite messy with random fandom junk, but then I started this journal for it to be a fic journal (and look how that ended up). Probably if I started a fic journal, the same thing would happen again. I guess I'll wait until DW goes through with the option of importing by tags, as that will make separating my posts a lot easier. In any case, this will be my main haunt for quite some time yet unless everyone jumps ship.
First with my internet down, and then LJ down, I've been checking ffnet a lot more (goodness...), dreamwidth, and watching stuff.
Anyway, you can find me below, though very inactive for the first two. My tumblr is brand new, and I don't know what to do with it.

And now for some super long babbling about stuff I've watched and am watching.
Harry Potter 7-2
The ennnnnd. I feel a little sad that this was it, though technically the last book was it. I was quite amazed at how tickets sold out for opening weekend (and opening night of course). My friends and I had to go to a theater that's a bit farther away than our usual since ours was sold out (for the morning showing!!). We were quite late, but still managed all right seats, though a couple was right smack in between us. I loved Neville in this movie. He sure played a big part! Snape's death scene moved me the most. The scene I was waiting the most for was Narcissa's with announcing Harry's death. Wanted to see how that would play out. She seemed to approach Harry on her own?
There was little talking in this movie compared to the previous one, since I guess the previous one already covered all the drama and misunderstandings and explanations. This one was mostly all action until the end, with very little time spent on any of the deaths, except for Snape's. Oh, but there was random kissing. Molly's line to Bellatrix didn't play out as I thought it would (it seemed to come out of nowhere?) Remus had one good line, a lot more than what many others had! Neville and Luna seemed to have a thing going on, though my head was going, what about Hannah? Neville and Luna make a lot more sense to me though, than Neville and Hannah. :3;;
I laughed when Voldemort hugged Draco.
Did Teddy show up in the epilogue scene? D: I was looking for him!
This got me back into an HP mood for a bit, so I've been reading some HP fics. Strangely, Draco x Astoria ones (who the heck is Astoria, right?). With so little known about her, she's basically whatever fic writers want to make her out to be.
Captain America
I have suddenly been watching a lot of Marvel movies. I almost know next to nothing about Marvel, but after watching this and Thor (and X-Men: First Class), I have been completely sucked into the movie verse at least. I think it'll be fascinating to see these characters come together in the Avengers. *___* (I so want to see Loki again. I loved his scenes in Thor and well, didn't really care much for Thor's scenes and Earth and just wanted to see what Loki was up to, haha, so it will be awesome to see him again, though he's probably going to be a lot more twisted than before. I still can't believe I left the theater before the after-credits scene in Thor... OTL. So I have yet to see that Loki scene that connects him to the Avengers).
But yeah, enough about Loki. XD;; Captain America! It was fascinating to watch, and amusing at times. I was quite amazed at how tiny Steve appeared in the beginning. I read up on how that effect was achieved after the movie. :3
I didn't know what to expect from the movie, but I liked it as someone who doesn't know a thing about Captain America. I liked Steve as a character, even though he was quite foolhardy at times, even though he later had the physical prowess to back up his foolhardiness. Loved his relationship with his friend.
I didn't expect the movie to end that way despite what was revealed at the beginning of the movie. OTL So he's a superhero that's out of his time? That makes for another interesting story right there! :O (For a moment, I was wondering if everything had been fake, that they'd been implanting fake memories, haha, but I would have felt cheated if that was the case).
I also felt he's a little outclassed compared to other superheros (he's just human! a super strong one with a shield, but still just a human!), so I wonder how he'll fit in with the other superheroes in the next movie.
Now I want to watch Ironman too. I haven't watched Ironman or Ironman 2!
Trigun Badlands Rumble
Suddenly, an anime movie? Went to watch this at one of my local theaters! There were so many guys in the theater! 0____0;; It was almost all guys!
It's a sad thing that even though I have watched Trigun a long, long time ago, I somehow managed to only watch every other episode of it since I thought there was only 1 episode per disc, even though there were 2 per disc. OTL I did watch the last episode though, and I knew and remembered enough about the characters to enjoy this movie.
The moment Vash spoke, I immediately recognized that he's voiced by Onosoka Masaya (who voices Momoshiro from Tenipuri)! It's something I didn't notice before, since I wasn't as much into seiyuu back then when I first watched Trigun. But Onosoka. Man, he does silly voices well.
I liked the lighthearted moments in this movie, and how Vash was cool despite being goofy. Wolfwood too. :D I like anime movies like this one that take place during the series (I don't like AUs, reboots, or retellings all that much with anime movies... what's the point of them?)
Ikemen desu ne
In addition to movies, I suddenly watched some jdrama. I say suddenly, since I don't watch jdrama all that much, but this one I'll be following! I liked the original kdrama (You're Beautiful/Minamishineyo) that this was a remake of, so I'm interested to see how this version will turn out.
This is the story of a crossdressing nun who takes the place of her twin brother in a boyband. XD;; Silly premise that leads to silly situations. XD;;; The remake so far is quite fast-paced and a lot of scenes are almost the same. Even the songs are the same, just translated! (The songs are quite a staple of the series though, so I can see why they might want to stick to that). I like the quicker pacing though, since the kdrama did get very draggy and full of waterworks. I'm hoping this version will continue with the pacing and skip all the draggy parts.
Mio (crossdressing heroine) is probably the best looking in the series, haha. XD; I seriously think she looks better than all the guys. During the first episode when she was wearing the hat, I thought she looked a little like Yanagi Kotarou (1st cast Echizen Ryoma from Tenimyu)!
Ouran High School Host Club
Interestingly enough, there are two other current jdrama with crossdressing heroines (is this the season of crossdressing heroines?), and one of those is Ouran, the other being HanaKimi. Since Takagi Shinpei (Momo in Tenimyu) and Takagi Manpei were cast as the twins, I was a little curious. I watched the first episode. It is so over the top. XD; I probably won't be following this, but I did think the twins were very cool. XDDD
Anyone know why HanaKimi is being redone? I haven't watched the previous version, but it confuses me why there's a remake only a few years after the first run.
IS otoko demo onna demo nai sei
I've been reading the manga for this series. It is so touching and makes me choke up when I read it. I didn't think there'd be a jdrama of this series. There are quite a lot of jdrama out there of manga that I don't know about though.
The gist of this story is that Haru is IS, intersexual, and runs into a lot of problems because of it, but Haru always stands up strong against adversary, and Haru's family supports Haru while Haru tries to make people understand what being IS is like. I hope the drama depicts Haru's journey and strength well. The first episode already made me choke up. They start off with Haru not being recognized as a boy, forced to enroll as a girl since that's what his birth certificate says. I'll be following this if I have time!
Natsume Yuujinchou San
I'm so behind with anime. I haven't been following anime episode by episode since Bakuman. I'm trying to follow Natsume Yuujinchou San as best as I can though. I just love this series so much, with each of the little stories. Even though people say the series is mostly episodic and that you can probably jump in anywhere without getting too confused, there is overall character growth. I certainly don't think Natsume would have been able to confront one of his childhood bullies from the very start.
But yeah, Natsume~ <3 The atmosphere of this series is amazing.
Hanasaku Iroha
Trying to marathon this one and catch up with the recent episodes! I like the slice-of-life aspect, and the work focus.
Ohana is quite an interesting protagonist. I'm currently around episode 12.

Date: 2011-07-29 03:14 am (UTC)I went to the midnight showing. After buying tickets a week in advance. 'Tis crowded it was. The thing(s) that I was most looking forward to: How the producers were going to make up for an entire series worth of mistakes, changes, and alterations. They did not do a bad job at all I thought.
And I was going to punch a cow if they messed up my beloved Snape's memory scene like they did in the fifth movie. But it was beautifully done and moving. *hugs Snape* Lupin's bonus line of profound wisdom (that wasn't in the book) I loved! And Neville was great too. I agree with you on Molly's line... that wasn't quite what I was picturing either.
Voldemort "hugs" Draco. Win.
No, I did not see Teddy either. :/
It's been forever + forever since I've read HP fanfiction. Mine was Snape/McGonagall (before I saw the movies) and Sirius/Remus.
----
I considered getting a tumblr. But then I told myself I needed no more distractions and I already turned my LJ into a tumblr + fanfiction journal anyway XD

Date: 2011-07-29 03:31 am (UTC)The movie actually made sense. I thought it might be a little hard to understand for people who haven't read the books, but my friend said he understood it fine.
Snape's scene was beautifully done. My throat was constricting through that entire scene. Lupin's bonus line was quite awesome. XD; He was a bit more... mopey in the book (with his outburst and all, but it was entirely cut out of the previous movie, wasn't it?) but if I remember, he did get over it by this time. I was picturing Molly to be in the middle of a grand... fight? With more adrenaline everywhere? In the movie, they were kind of just off to the side. Maybe if there had been more shouting and frenzy going on, I'd had felt it wasn't as out-of-the-blue, since it sounded more cold-hearted than fueled by intensity the way it was portrayed in the movie.
Voldemort hugging Draco was so awkward. XD;
I was looking forward to Teddy. As a big Remus Lupin fan, I clung onto Teddy for quite a while after the books and read a lot of Teddy-centric fanfic. :3;; So... disappointment in not seeing him. ): No closure regarding that! Hehe, Snape/McGonagall? :) I've read a few of those. I'm also a big fan of Sirius/Remus, especially during their Marauder years. I also like Harry/Draco, Draco/Hermione depending on how it's done, Snape (or Lupin) adopting Harry, and such. XD; Or gen. I love gen.
I think that's what I turned my journal into too. XD; If I did start using tumblr, this journal would become quite bare and even more boring. Also, almost no one comments on tumblr!

Date: 2011-07-29 08:03 pm (UTC)^^ Snape's scene. Alan Rickman pwns.
Hmm, I believe you're right about Lupin's outburst being cut out.
It's been so long since I've seen Part 1... like since it came outPercy never shows up in Part 2, so you don't get see Lupin showing people a picture of baby Teddy to people to distract them from the awkwardness that is Percy showing up.It's funny to me that, in the book, Battle 2 was more adrenaline/action than Battle 1, but it was sort of vice versa in the movie. In the book, Bellatrix taunts her while fighting, which in turn pisses her more off and they start getting fierce.
The hug and the Voldemort laugh. It's definitely agreed that they were too awkward yet funny parts of the movie.
Ahhh!!! Lupin is love.
Snape/McGonagall (I pictured her looking quite a bit different than the movies)... I see them as two intellectuals always duking it out over everything, but they're very mature +strict, take their profession seriously, are immensely talented, and care for the students in their own ways. Therefore, it makes them completely compatible XD Gen is good too!
I love your journal <3 It's a great balance of a lot of things. From my limited exposure to tumblr, it does seem like no one comments on it. And comments are fun to read and reply to!

Date: 2011-07-29 11:05 pm (UTC)Alan Rickman pwns. Definitely.
Yeah, after the first movie, I remember thinking, ah, all of Lupin's outbursts have been cut out. (Makes him seem a lot calmer in the movie). While I didn't like those moments in the book much, it does make for different characterization. Ah, Percy! I'd have liked to see Percy. Was he around during Fred's death scene?
Hm, it was sort of vice versa in the movie! Voldemort's death too. After Nagini got slayed and Harry claimed the elder wand... he kind of just... dissolved into bits. Or exploded? It was a little anti-climatic there too.
I see that Tom Felton even tweeted about that scene. "Pretty proud to say I'm probably the only kid that ever hugged Voldemort. Even if it was awkward". Hilarious! XD;
Yes, that! Snape and McGonagall's rivalry over their houses and over Quidditch was quite fun too. :D Both characters were cast as much older in the movies than I imagined. XD;
Aw, thanks! This journal has become entirely a random fandom dump. XD; My experience with tumblr is very limited, but I get the feel that comments aren't the norm. It's all about liking and reblogging.

Date: 2011-07-29 04:25 am (UTC)But well~
HP last movie has a lot of action, but i don't like the "Voldemorth became a ballon" xD, he EXPLODE!! Now i need to make a Pokemon-like gif who said: Voldemorth USE EXPLOSION xD. And yes! I love Neville too! I like how the movie have him more protagonism, and the NevillexLuna!! I don't know why JK never made it oficial D:
Voldemorth hugging Draco = RLOL xD! I die in laughing in this part, and all the sala send me glares xD
I wanted to see Teddy too! But no D:, if you never read the books and don't put attention in the part when Harry talks with Lupin with the resurrection stone, you will never knew Lupin has a son lol, and I was hoping to see the part when Lupin show Harry the photos of the baby D:
I don't use tumblr, but you can write fanfics in devianart o.o

Date: 2011-07-29 04:47 am (UTC)Ahahaha, Voldemort... balloon. XD; His death did feel a little anti-climatic to me. If you do make that gif, that would be hilarious. Neville got some cool parts in the movie. :D I didn't expect Neville x Luna since JKR said in an interview that Neville eventually marries Hannah. XD;;
I giggled during the Voldemort hugging Draco scene. A lot of other people in the theater laughed too. XD;; You weren't the only one laughing, were you?
Yeah, it's pretty easy to miss that Lupin has a son from just the movie. Wish Teddy was mentioned more. His name wasn't even mentioned, was it?
I've never figured out how fanfics work with deviantart... seems hard to connect posts or post long stuff? I have no idea! Are there communities (clubs?) where people gather writing?
no subject
Date: 2011-07-30 03:02 am (UTC)I will try to make the gif, need to find free time x3. Well only I and my friends laughed, the other people only send dead glares to us xD. Nop, Teddy's name never are mentioned in the movie -_-
Well, i have little time with my DA account, but i know you can upload fics, I found lot of them in DA, I will try to post one of my pokémon fics... Oh and yes! DA have groups! They are groups for writters in general, for videogames or animes, including groups for crepy pasta fanfics (... I need to forget THAT stuff seriously... after a read on Creepy pasta of Pokémon i CAN'T view a pokémon unknown without think in scary stuff lol), you can unit a group :3

Date: 2011-07-30 07:30 am (UTC)It will be one hilarious gif. XD; Ahh, I can't believe only you and your friends laughed!
I know of art groups/fanclubs, though I don't know how long they've been around. :3;; I'm not too familiar with deviantart! It makes sense that there would also be writing groups too, though I have never heard anyone talk about them before...
Creepy... pasta? 0_____________0;;

Date: 2011-07-29 05:20 am (UTC)Overall, I felt like it had some editing issues that interrupted the flow, but it was a super fun movie! Totally psyched for Avengers now.
In contrast, I think I wanted to like the last HP movie than I actually did. My favorite summer movie is still X-Men First Class, so far.
Also, have you seen this amazing vid? :D
no subject
Date: 2011-07-29 05:48 am (UTC)I thought it was a super fun movie too. :) It seemed a bit bloodier than the other superhero movies though? There were people dying left and right (getting zapped and disappearing into thin air!) and also that guy that fell into the chopper... ouch.
I liked the HP movie, though when I started writing about it here, I couldn't seem to put which parts I liked into words very well (while it's so easy to laugh at the awkward scenes, like Voldemort hugging Draco). I really liked X-Men:First Class. Charles is the largest reason why, because I was totally invested in his story.
I haven't seen this video! *watches* XDDDD Ahahahaha. <3 I love mock trailers like this one! XD

Date: 2011-07-30 03:03 am (UTC)I admit, I cringed when the propeller death happened. Totally was not expecting something that graphic. It is war, though, so I guess we're just lucky we didn't get the Saving Private Ryan level of graphicness.
It's not that I didn't enjoy the HP movie. I just really wanted to like HP more than I did. There were too many awkward moments and the pacing kept throwing me off. I don't think it helped that like you said, there was so little dialogue to keep me engaged. It's too bad, too, because I was so looking forward to it, and I came out of the fifth and sixth one with a distinct feeling of "wow, that was so good." Oh, well. Cowboys & Aliens and Winnie the Pooh next for me! :D
I think it's Charles' high pitched scream that made that mash-up vid for me XD I couldn't stop laughing. Charles is by far my favorite character for that movie, too--James McAvoy just totally drew me in! I'm surprised they didn't work in Charles' child abuse, but I guess there's only so much childhood angst we can have at once.
This vid made my heart twinge a bit:

Date: 2011-07-30 07:45 am (UTC)That scene made me question what just happened. I wasn't expecting something that graphic either, but like you say, it is war. I wondered what the rating of the movie was though (I didn't check or think to check). If it's only rated PG-13... well. *goes to check* Haha, it is PG-13. A very violent and bloody PG-13. I never have figured out ratings! Seems like swearing earns a higher rating than violence?
There sure were awkward moments in the HP movie! The kissing especially. =P But I'm quite glad the movie made sense overall, despite having some stuff changed. I'm sad that Dumbledore's past wasn't explored or explained more though. Oh, you're watching those? XD; I don't think I have plans to watch either, but Cowboys & Aliens... I'm quite curious. XD;
Ahahaha. XD Ah, see, that's history about Charles I totally didn't know since it wasn't mentioned in the movie. I watched X-Men one after I came home from XMFC since I seemed to be missing a lot of stuff, and then I rewatched XMFC again. XD;;
*watches video* Awwwww. This one is precious. <3 And I love how Charles' lines are interwoven into the video here. *____*

Date: 2011-07-29 06:13 am (UTC)And DH2 was a bit rushed but beautifully done.
Also, veryawkward!Voldy laugh and veryveryawkward!Voldy&Draco hug are very, very awkward indeed. I was amused tbh. xD

Date: 2011-07-29 06:46 am (UTC)I find it amazing that even with two movies covering one book, it can still seemed rushed. They cut out some scenes that I was looking forward to (like Lupin's scenes in DH1 despite the strange characterization... was wondering how they would be done, but I suppose they don't matter much in the overall plot...). But I came out satisfied, and wanting more. I also felt the epilogue scene was nice for closure (even though I thought it strange and cheesy when I first read it in the book), since if the movie had ended with them standing in front of the castle... that would have felt cut-off.
I was totally amused by the very awkward Voldemort and Draco hug. XD; Seems like a lot of people were, huh?

Date: 2011-07-29 10:32 am (UTC)From what I've seen, yes. xD I went "!! lolololol xDDDD" in the theatre, no joke. So very random and awkward, oh Voldy.

Date: 2011-07-29 11:02 am (UTC)I laughed during the scene. The rest of the theater was quite loud during the scene too. XD;

Date: 2011-07-29 07:00 am (UTC)lol, no one knows why they need to remake the HanaKimi drama. Probably the lack of original stories to make a new drama... :/
I haven't watch it yet but I heard they remake the same scenes and using the same soundtrack... -___-;;
no subject
Date: 2011-07-29 07:44 am (UTC)Haha, really? I thought there'd be some grand reason... like the first HanaKimi didn't do it well enough or the like... I only watched part of the 1st episode of that one, so I don't know if it was well done or not.
...that is even stranger, using the same soundtrack. D: I'm kind of curious now. I wonder if anyone did any comparisons?
no subject
Date: 2011-07-29 11:21 am (UTC)hmm... I don't think anyone make any comparisons but maybe because they watched the first one so many times, they kinda recognize the background music? :D
no subject
Date: 2011-07-29 11:08 pm (UTC)I sort of watched the first episode yesterday of this remake (didn't pay too much attention). It seems a bit goofier? Or was the other version goofy too... XD; I still don't understand why a remake was necessary after watching the first episode. :3;;

Date: 2011-07-29 07:22 am (UTC)I really liked Captain America! You should go watch Iron Man. Seriously. The Hulk (2008 vers, not 2003) is also part of the "Marvel Movie Universe" and features a cameo with Tony Stark (and a nod towards Cap). The Hulk actually got a mention in Thor, as did Tony! :D In Cap, I liked the little nod towards Asgard, haha. I sooo cannot wait for the Avengers movie. The movies are all kind of entwined together and it's fun to spot the things that connect them together, like Cap's shield turning up in Tony's work room.
*ahem* But yeah. Go watch Iron Man.
As for being out-classed in the Avengers...gotta say Cap, Iron Man, and Thor are the Big Three.

Date: 2011-07-29 07:54 am (UTC)I'm so going to watch Iron Man before next year! And I suppose the Hulk too? I missed all the references and nods in Thor, but I caught the nod towards Asgard in Captain America, since I did watch Thor. :D It's fascinating how the movies are entwined.
Hehe, so I'm taking he won't be out-classed? Can't wait to see him in action along with the others!

Date: 2011-07-29 08:33 am (UTC)and boy do I seem focused on military words. Dreamwidth I just crosspost everything between there and here, but tumblr is so addicting, dammit. I mostly just reblog stuff, you can never go wrong with reblogging stuff.The saddest part of HP for me was definitely all the Weasleys crying over Fred. I definitely teared up during that part, but otherwise managed to keep the sobs in check. They did the Snape memory scene pretty well, I liked that a lot. Also I expected Molly's famous line to be more...badass, I guess? That whole sequence seemed really forced and lackluster to me.
Wait, they're redoing the Hana-Kimi drama? The Japanese version?
no subject
Date: 2011-07-29 10:54 am (UTC)The Weasleys crying over Fred was a very strong scene. D: No one needed to say anything for it to hit hard during that scene. ;__; Ah, badass! That's just the word to describe what I was expecting of Molly's line but didn't get.
Yeah, the Japanese version of Hana Kimi is being redone. It...doesn't make sense to me, since I thought the previous version was done in what, 2008? 2009? I never thought dramas were ever redone, and certainly not this soon!
no subject
Date: 2011-07-30 06:02 am (UTC)Yesss, especially since the mere sight of people crying makes me want to cry. ;3; And George looked so heartbroken, I was like "noooooo" when I saw him. Yeah, I know Molly only had a couple parts in the whole movie, but she definitely seemed like they didn't put too much effort into those scenes?
HUH. That is weird. Is it just going to be like, the same show but with different people?
no subject
Date: 2011-07-30 07:55 am (UTC)Ahhhhh, I know the feeling. ;____; I was already going D: when Fred and George were together in one scene. They looked so happy then. ;___; That's what it felt like to me with Molly's line, though I guess they did know it was a highly anticipated line that they had to work in somehow, but the way it was worked in was a little lackluster.
Yeah! It's the same storyline. And

Date: 2011-07-30 08:08 am (UTC)I know, I can't see pictures of the two of them from the previous movies now without being really sad. Sheesh, JK Rowling, out of everyone you could've killed, you had to kill one of the Weasleys...
Whaaaat. This is strange indeed. Why can't they just make an anime if everyone loves it so much, I would kill for a Hana-Kimi anime, dammit skdjfskjdfsk.
no subject
Date: 2011-07-30 08:24 am (UTC)Seeing them in this movie was particularly bad. They'd just been hit with George's injury, only to have worse happen so soon after. T___T JKR sure knows how to hit hard.
kldja;sdfjka; I so want an anime. An anime would have made a lot of sense given the popularity of the series and idea, and it'd have been a different medium. I'm sure there are lots of female seiyuu who can do a wonderful voice for crossdressing Mizuki. kl;sadjfa;sf I want to see this happen. D:

Date: 2011-07-31 05:10 am (UTC)I KNOW, SERIOUSLY. How could they have gone this long without realizing an anime would be the greatest thing ever. At least better than ANOTHER drama.

Date: 2011-07-29 10:50 am (UTC)My boyfriend and I went to watch HP yesterday! And it was still pretty much full at the 2 o'clock showing.
"I loved Neville in this movie. He sure played a big part!"
eeeeeee, I loved seeing him in this~ (Except I'd been sure he'd used the sword faster in the book but I'm probably wrong.)
"Oh, but there was random kissing."
Haaaaaaaaa, yes!! This, so much. The first time Ron and Hermione kissed, we laughed, because it came out of nowhere. XDD
"Molly's line to Bellatrix didn't play out as I thought it would"
I was expecting her to shout it. :( Or that it'd be more epic.
"Neville and Luna make a lot more sense to me though"
slkfj They were cute~
"I laughed when Voldemort hugged Draco."
That was just...special, that bit. XDD
"I'm trying to follow Natsume Yuujinchou San as best as I can though"
I think the only reason I'm trying really hard to keep up with Natsume is so I don't end up with this huuuuuge block of episodes to watch in the one go. X3;;

Date: 2011-07-29 10:33 pm (UTC)Yay, HP! \o/
I think Neville used the sword faster... but I don't remember the book well enough. I read it only once on the day it was released. XD; (And I'm so confusing a lot of parts with fanfic).
Hahaha, the random kissing. XD; They were just standing there, and suddenly, kissing! Made me blink a bit. XD
Hm yeah, I was expecting Molly's line to be fierce. Shouting would have made that line fiercer.
They were!
Haha, special. XD; Tom Felton tweeted on his twitter "Pretty proud to say I'm probably the only kid that ever hugged Voldemort. Even if it was awkward". That made me laugh so hard. XDDD;;
Natsume is something to look forward to every week. :D Must savor this show in small bits! I usually end up having to marathon shows though, with how much I fall behind.

Yeeeeah, I'm the same. XDD;; I've only read the book once and I've mixed up bits from fanfic.

Date: 2011-07-29 01:30 pm (UTC)I think Teddy was in the train carriage with the other Potter & Weasley kids as they were waving goodbye.
I've also really liked all the Marvel movies this year. X-Men First Class was my favourite, then Thor, but Captain America wasn't bad. I'm looking forward to Avengers and Iron Man 3 though.
no subject
Date: 2011-07-29 10:55 pm (UTC)Was he? :O I'll have to rewatch that part one day. I completely didn't spot him. (I thought James would spout his line of Victoire and Teddy kissing to help clue me in, haha)
This year was quite a superhero-filled year. :) I liked Thor for Loki and X-Men: First Class for Charles (I'm so character invested. I usually like movies for the story but don't love a movie unless one of the characters grabs me). Captain America didn't have anyone that jumped out at me like the other two movies, but I did enjoy following Cap's journey and was rooting for him all the way. I so look forward to the Avengers! I need to watch Iron Man 1 + 2 before I can say if I'm looking forward to 3. :3

Date: 2011-07-30 12:20 am (UTC)I'm pretty sure he was. I, of course, could be completely mistaken.
Iron Man, in general, is good. Robert Downey, Jr. was quite seriously just born to play that role, in my opinion. I think you'd like them if you liked they others.
no subject
Date: 2011-07-30 07:59 am (UTC)I suppose I'll have to wait for the DVD to see if I can spot him myself. :)
I read up on Iron Man after watching Captain America, and seeing Robert Downey Jr. (in photos and in videos) makes me want to watch the movies right away to see how he's like in the movies. I am very intrigued. :)

Date: 2011-08-11 03:33 pm (UTC)Either way I saw the first episode of the live action ouran high school host club.
For me it was rather funny and it was suprising that the actors managed to act out the roles. The best actor would go to Honey's actor of course, Chiba Yudai. He seems much suited at act as honey.
The rest are funny too and I like that they used the twins to act as twins as well! I didn't like Tamaki though, rather disappointing.
I didn't follow the show after that but I did saw a gif of honey kicking someone's face with a jump kick. XD
no subject
Date: 2011-08-11 09:33 pm (UTC)I thought the actors in Ouran were pretty good and they fit the part well. XD; The effects made everything pretty cheesy though. XDDDD Honey even shrinks!

Date: 2011-08-12 12:46 am (UTC)My tumblr is basically full of things that I like. I mostly reblog them but I do post some of my stuff in there.
I think that livejournal is still the best for fictions. We can easily comment what we want here. In tumblr, I still have to find the reply button if there is on the post or else reblog the entire thing which is so long.
Either ways as long it is fun and interesting then why not enjoy it? Each site has it's pros and cons afterall.
